LARCH HILLS NORDIC SOCIETY
Waffles
Waffles is a fun extension of our Jackrabbit program for kids in Levels 3–4 who are ready for a little more. Along with their regular Saturday Jackrabbits sessions, Waffles gives young skiers an extra opportunity to build their skills, gain confidence and enjoy more time on the trails. The program focuses on fun, active skiing and is a great next step for kids who want to keep developing their skills while spending more time on skis.
Waffles
Waffles is fun extension of our Jackrabbit program for kids in Levels 3–4 who are looking for a little more than the regular Saturday Jackrabbits has to offer.
An extra session is offered one evening a week, usually from 5:15–6:45 p.m. The cost is $60, in addition to the regular Jackrabbit registration fee. Participants must also be registered in the regular Jackrabbit Program to participate.
Waffles is all about having fun while building ski skills and confidence. Volunteer coaches introduce ski techniques while helping kids develop strength, speed, power and aerobic fitness. Games, challenges, fun events, and short and longer adventures keep things active and engaging while building a strong team atmosphere.
Waffles focuses on fun skate skiing, and some skate equipment is available to borrow.
