Youth Explorers
Larch Hills Explorers is for young skiers (11 – 16 yrs) who are ready to venture beyond the familiar and discover more of what our trails have to offer. This fun, adventure-focused program combines ski skill development with longer trail adventures on trackset and non-trackset trails. Along the way, skiers build confidence, endurance and independence while enjoying time outdoors with friends and developing a love for exploring the Larch Hills trails.
Explorers
The Explorers program is designed for younger Larch Hill members [ages 11 to 16] who have completed the Jackrabbit ski lesson program (minimum one year completed of Level 4) and wish to continue spending their Saturdays skiing with an energetic bunch of young skiers. The emphasis of the program is on fun, social skiing and longer ski times [approx. two hours] providing a non-competitive alternative to the race team.

LHNS Membership Required.
- Classic and/or skate ski equipment required.
- Your child’s coach will reach via email before the first day of regular programming.
- Cold weather cut-off is -15° C
